The Free Scrubber, named after the online video of the legendary Tom Curren, is a legacy design created by Britt Merrick and Tom Curren The Free Scrubber was born when Al Merrick tried to remake the Magic Twin Fin that Tom had carved for him about 40 years ago. Tom re-pursued the feeling of the Wing Swallow Tail that was popular in the early 80s with the low rocker of the twin fin of that board, the classic bee bottom. It has been updated with modern rails and foils, and is a modern shortboard-like twin fin with increased drive and hold based on a fast and loose base. A perfect twin fin for shortboard surfers who are used to tri-fins. Enjoy unprecedented line-taking with the twin Fouridum. We recommend riding the Free Scrubber 1 to 2 inches shorter than a Happy Everyday and 3 to 5 inches shorter than a Two Happy.
