Dominator 2

Dominator has been refined for improved performance

The Dominator 2 is a new model that Firewire's head shaper Dan Mann confidently recommends. The original Dominator, which was the base model, has been a popular standard model for many years, but the Dominator 2 has a wider range of wave sizes and conditions that it can handle, and has improved performance. The obvious change in the outline is the tail shape, which has been updated from a round tail to a squash tail. The rail shape has also been refined to emphasize performance. The bottom concave is double barrel near the fin and Vee around 5 inches of the tail. The squash tail is a versatile shape that combines the smooth rail work of a round tail with good release during turns and snaps. The Dominator 2 is available in the new look Helium 2.
