The Funboard Rob Machado Wants to Ride on Sunday

Firewire's SUNDAY has been released as a new model for 2021. The Sunday, shaped by Rob Machado, seems to be the perfect board for Rob to ride on Sundays on the weekend. Sundays are a mix of private life, family, and a little work for him, and are basically a day to relax.

I wake up slowly and head out for my first round of surfing in the afternoon, cruising on a 7'0" Sundae. Then in the evening, if the waves are good, I'll rip on a 6'0" Sundae. Rob says that having two sizes of Sundaes allows him to surf a wider range of waves.

Rob recommends riding your Sunday with a lot of volume and don't be embarrassed about riding a board with a lot of float, as relaxed surfing suits your Sunday well.
