Shadow

Shadow is a high-performance shortboard that joins the Ghost family. Already used by John John Florence, Jack Freestone, and other members of the team, this board is a board that surfers can surf the way they want in a wide range of wave conditions and wave sizes. Pyzel recognized that the Phantom was a great everyday board that could handle any wave, and redesigned the Shadow to be an even higher performance board. In addition, he placed emphasis on not compromising the flow and glide that are the original goodness of the Phantom. Shadow provides users with a sleek and high-performance performance while maintaining the benefits of a forward outline that has width and center of gravity on the nose side.

The Shadow outline is high performance, but the wide point is located closer to the center of the board. The nose width is slightly narrower and the rocker is designed to be slightly stronger, so you can make critical turns in the pocket of the wave without stress. The tail has a light hip, making it sensitive and loose to operate. The squash tail is also slightly narrower, making it easier to turn tight arcs and improving vertical actions such as lip action. The tail rocker and bottom concave are similar to the Phantom, and have been proven to work in average conditions. The Shadow has a thick overall shape, so unlike typical high performance boards, it is easy to paddle and can maintain speed even in flat sections of the wave, making it a forgiving board that allows you to ride without interrupting the flow.

The Shadow should be ridden at about your height or a little longer, the same size as your regular high performance board.
