The Pyzel Phantom is a step-down version of John John's favorite model (Ghost), a very reliable surfboard for everyday average waves. The Ghost is very popular and accepted for surfing in many different waves, but everyone's opinion is that it works best in shoulder-sized waves. So we stepped down the Ghost to create the Phantom, which gives you the feeling and performance of the Ghost in everyday small waves and head-sized waves. The Phantom, which has a squash tail and overall volume, is a board that is best suited for average waves rather than epic waves.

The rocker is the same as the Ghost, but with the addition of a single concave and flatter center, we've been able to create speed and flow without sacrificing the performance and feel of the original design. The wider tail and nose create a fuller, straighter outline that helps you maintain speed in the slower sections of the wave and when turning tight.

The rails are full but not too thick, giving you the essential float and speed you need for surfing without sacrificing the finesse you want from a surfboard. The Phantom is great for any wave size, from waist to overhead. It's a daily driver with the essence of performance surfing.

For the Phantom, the standard length is the same as your height. If you drive a Ghost, choose something a little shorter, wider, and the same thickness.

Paisel Surfboards also accepts custom orders using materials such as PU and epoxy.
