The Pyzel Ghost is the board that John John used when he was World Champion two years in a row, and is a Pyzel performance shortboard that is perfect for all levels.

It took two years to complete, and it was completed based on feedback from a wide range of surfers, including not only my own team riders but also average surfers. It is basically designed for deep, powerful waves (reef, point break, beach break), and while retaining the good parts of the SHORT CUT outline and leaving the wide point a little forward, the nose width has been slightly reduced to enable tight curves. The rocker is medium low to allow for speed and to help with paddling, and there is plenty of tail rocker to improve control and response. There is a double concave within the single concave in the single concave throughout the board to improve response and acceleration. The combination of these rockers and concaves makes this a speedy, responsive, and highly controllable model.

GHOST is an essential item for surf trips on powerful, deep waves overseas, and will definitely come in handy. We recommend ordering a board that is about your height, or up to 6 inches longer than your height, and 1/8 to 1/4 thicker than a regular board. Round tails are standard, but you can also order with your preferred tail.

The standard fin configuration is 5 fins, but tri-fins can also be ordered.

Paisel Surfboards also accepts custom orders using materials such as PU and epoxy.
