Want to blast through small waves? Another reason to stay in the water consistently, even during the calm summer months, is the Fun Performance Design. The Astropop offers flashiness and easy paddling in weak or slow waves, but also offers high-performance surfing when the waves are good.

Based on the popular retro fish model Astro, the Astro Pop has been narrowed down by narrowing the nose and adding tail width and wings. This emphasizes the curves of the outline, improving the board's maneuverability without losing speed. The bottom has a deep double concave and the tail end has a vee concave, giving the board lift, allowing it to glide lightly on the water surface even in slow, weak waves, and making it easier to turn rail-to-rail even at high speeds.

The tip of the North is beaked like a bird's beak and left a little thick, but it's not too thick, and it's a daily driver type board with a flat nose rocker that makes it easy to paddle.

If you're looking for speed, we recommend riding the Astropop with quad fins, but we've designed the stock board with a 5-fin plug so that you can enjoy it in a variety of settings.

We recommend choosing a board that is as short as you like, about an inch wider than your regular board, and a thickness that gives you more buoyancy (CL) than your regular board.

Paisel Surfboards also accepts custom orders using materials such as PU and epoxy.
