In 1999, Al Merrick designed The Flyer, an innovative high performance board for small waves. In 2013, Channel Islands released The New Flyer, an improved version of the original The Flyer, shorter and wider. The New Flyer's new outline keeps the same volume even though the rail line is shorter. We recommend that the board length be 2 to 4 inches shorter than your height.
