HAPPY EVERYDAY by Channel Islands
Happy Everyday
Following on from the performance shortboard model Two Happy, the Happy Everyday is the everyday shortboard that every surfer wants.
While inheriting the performance of TWO HAPPY that is loved by the CI team, we have improved it so that it can handle the average conditions that ordinary surfers surf every day. When the waves are not good enough to bring out a high performance board, but you feel like ripping rather than a small wave board, that's when the Happy Everyday comes in!
Shaper Britt Merrick shortened the rail line and emphasized the curved outline towards the tail. To accommodate various conditions, the rocker in the nose and tail is reduced, improving paddling performance and planing speed performance. The single concave on the bottom creates acceleration like an accelerator, and the double concave near the fin not only makes it easier to turn from rail to rail, but also gives the tail lift needed in small waves.
The CI pro team already loves the Happy Everyday, but Taj Burrow has proven the board's performance in Stab in the Dark. The Happy Everyday is a great all-around board that sits between high-performance models like the TWO HAPPY and step-down/grovelers like the Rocket Wide. The Happy Everyday will let you enjoy high-performance surfing in everyday, ordinary waves.
Happy Everyday is recommended for the following people!
This is an all-round model that is recommended for intermediate surfers. It is perfect for those who are looking for a board that is somewhere between a small wave board and a high performance board. Since it can perform many turns and top actions in one ride, it is likely to be useful in competition scenes when the waves are small or in average conditions.
Happy Everyday's wave sizes and conditions
It is an all-around board that can handle waves above the waist and up to about head height without any problems. It demonstrates speed and action performance regardless of the wave conditions.
Fins recommended for Happy Everyday
Any fins will match, so we recommend changing the fins to suit the wave conditions. A safe choice is the AM (Al Merrick) Medium. This model comes with a tri-fin as standard, but you can also custom order it to have five fins.
