G Skate

G Skate
The G SKATE is a hybrid surfboard with a snappy, swallow tail design that accelerates quickly and was co-designed by the Gudauskas brothers and Britt Merrick.
"This model was designed with performance and acceleration in mind, as well as a board design that could be used in any wave condition, and we set high standards especially in terms of performance. The G SKATE cleared all of these standards and goals. Everything from the rail length to the shallow concave is precisely combined, and the fins are set to twin + stabilizer, making it a board with high performance despite its familiar appearance. The G SKATE is a versatile board that you can definitely use if you have one.
"As a guide for custom sizing, we recommend a length 3-6 inches shorter than the perf board (your height) and the same thickness as a regular perf board.
"To further enhance the performance of the G SKATE, Britt Merrick and the Gudauskas brothers also designed the twin + stabilizer fin "Merrick / Gudauskas 2 + 1". By using this fin, you can maintain the free movement of the twin fins while also mixing in the board control of the tri-fins. As a different fin setting, the twin + stabilizer fin "AMT" designed by Al Merrick also offers a different riding experience. This fin reduces propulsion slightly, but increases rotation in return.
Or, if you are not comfortable with twin fins, you can try a tri-fin until you get used to the board, and then gradually get used to twin fins.
We can order Channel Islands Surfboards from California CI HQ or Hawaii licensed production. Feel free to ask questions/estimates.
