The MINI model was born as a collaboration between Channel Islands x Kalani Rob x MINI. The versatile MINI is designed to improve surfing performance and have fun in a wide range of conditions. The shape features a low rocker that is almost flat, a fairly wide nose and tail, a super wide squash tail, thin rails, and a deep single-double-vee concave. It incorporates design elements from Al Merrick's popular model Skinny Fish, so it has easy takeoff and excellent speed like a fish board, and the combination with the squash tail allows for quick and skatey shortboard performance. It is recommended for use in waves about knee to head high. Ride 3 to 6 inches shorter than your height.
