Black and White

An all-around high performance shortboard, this model was born from a hand-shaped shortboard made for Dane by Al Merrick's son Britt Merrick. This performance shortboard was designed with the point breaks in the Santa Barbara area in mind. The Black and White has extremely fast down-the-line speed and rail-to-rail switching. Dane says that the feeling is similar to a good MBM. The nose rocker is subdued, the middle area is also subdued, and the tail has a strong kick. The bottom has a single concave overall, a slight double concave in the tail, and a VEE at the end. The Black and White has a flat deck and flex that is important, making it a high-performance shortboard with excellent ride comfort!
