Fred Rubble by Channel Islands
Fred Rubble
Fred Rubble was developed for Conner Coffin to use when the waves are relatively small. It has a modest entry rocker with a slightly stronger tail kick, and a shallow single-double-vee concave on the bottom. The outline has a wider tail than high-performance boards such as the Proton, and the rail shape is medium rail, which is well-balanced for both rail-to-rail surfing and tight maneuvers that rotate the board around the tail. It performs well in all conditions from hip to overhead, and is a popular long-running model that is still used by Dane Reynolds and Kelly Slater in addition to Connor.
