High Five by Channel Islands

High Five
The next board that the Channel Islands staff recommended to Joe was the High Five, which is a fun-oriented model like Joe's, but with a bit more performance than Joe's. The High Five increases the number of waves you can ride and allows you to do rail turns, making it a model that allows you to easily make fast sections. Everyone has their own way of riding, but the Channel Islands staff recommends riding it 3-5 inches shorter than your height.

High Five is recommended for these people!
The HIGH 5 is a mini funboard model designed for a wide range of levels from beginners to advanced surfers. If you value fun and ease in surfing, but also want to perform like a shortboard, then the High Five is the one for you. The overall outline is consistently wide, so paddling is smooth and the takeoff is very fast. Even in flat waves, it moves from section to section without losing speed. The swallow tail makes it easy to turn and has a good feel when you take off at the top. If you are an advanced surfer, it has the performance to handle some pretty critical actions.

High Five is suitable for the following wave sizes and conditions:
HIGH 5 targets small waves of knee to head height, thick and weak waves. It can handle small waves with little power, so it can be used for long rides and increases the chances of successful action. The turn can be done quickly and with a skateboard-like feeling, so it is also good for irregularly breaking waves.
