THE GEM

"THE GEM" is a model born from a collaboration between Tyler Jensen, who won the World Longboard Championship title three times, and Dan Mann, who shaped the popular "BAKED POTETO". The idea for this model started with a question from Tyler to Dan: "Can you design a longboard that will satisfy many longboarders?" The image is a board that is halfway between the performance longboard "TJ PRO" released by FIREWIRE and the "TJ EVERYDAY" for enjoying nose riding and riding waves. In response to this question, Dan designed a board that uses a shortboard concave in the outline of the longboard and has the fins arranged in the way that Tyler likes the most. This combination has resulted in a masterpiece longboard with a high level of completion, like a gem = GEM. THE GEM's "diamond" tail is not just for show. It is a valuable all-round board that is both rotatable and has the ability to enjoy nose riding.
