They also widened the tail block by 1/2 inch and added a slight hip, which improved responsiveness and maneuverability. And in a tweak to this awesome new model, the Neckbeard 3, they rounded off the characteristic square block and updated only the tail shape to a round shape. The Neckbeard 3 is the exact same shape design as the Neckbeard 2 in every respect except the tail, but the new tail design makes the transition in the pocket of the wave smoother and carves the face of the wave as smoothly as butter. And the tube riding has more hold so you can make it with confidence. The Neckbeard 3 is designed with a tri-fin setup in mind, but it also works very well as a quad with a 5-fin plug.
